These terms govern your use of the Lilly Ridge Resort and Blue Jay Charters website and booking system. By making a booking, you agree to these terms.

Bookings and Reservations

  • All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is not confirmed until a deposit has been received and you receive a confirmation message.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate contact information (name, phone, email) at the time of booking.
  • Booking details including dates, party size, and special requests should be reviewed before submitting. Contact us promptly if any information is incorrect.

Deposits and Payments

  • A deposit may be required to confirm your booking. The deposit amount varies by booking type and will be clearly displayed before payment.
  • Remaining balances are due prior to or upon arrival, as specified in your booking confirmation.
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation requests must be made by contacting us directly via phone, email, or text message.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and booking type. A cancellation fee may apply.
  • Weather-related cancellations for charter trips will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Safety is our top priority.
  • Refunds, when approved, are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Rescheduling

Bookings may be rescheduled subject to availability. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change your dates. No additional fees apply for rescheduling with adequate notice.

Charter Trips

  • Charter trips depart at the scheduled time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
  • The captain has final authority on safety decisions, including weather-related delays or cancellations.
  • Guests are responsible for obtaining any required fishing licenses before the trip.
  • We provide all fishing equipment and tackle. You are welcome to bring your own.
  • Alcohol is permitted in moderation. The captain reserves the right to end a trip early if guest behavior creates a safety concern.

Cabin and Lodge Stays

  • Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM.
  • Door codes are sent via text message prior to your arrival date. Contact us if you do not receive your code.
  • Guests are responsible for leaving the property in reasonable condition. Excessive cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.
  • Maximum occupancy limits must be respected for each property.

Text Message (SMS) Terms

  • By opting in to text messages during booking, you consent to receive transactional and informational SMS from Lilly Ridge Resort / Blue Jay Charters.
  • Message types include: booking confirmations, reminders, check-in details, and add-on offers.
  • Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
  • Opting in to text messages is not a condition of booking or purchase.
  • Your phone number will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Liability

Lilly Ridge Resort and Blue Jay Charters are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss occurring during your stay or charter trip, except where caused by our gross negligence. Outdoor activities including boating and fishing involve inherent risks.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
